Welcome to the website of the DMC Leisure Saffron Walden & District Snooker League.
The 2011/12 Season is the 50th Season
of the league and is testament to the strength and popularity of the league. Currently we have two different league formats,
the Three Player Division and the Four Player Division. In the Three Player Division, teams consist of three players all player
two frames each per match to a set order. Similarly, in the Four Player Division, four players from each team play one frame
each per match again to a predetermined order prior to the match commencing. In order that players of a different standard can
compete on an equal basis, all players are handicapped according to their ability and handicaps are altered twice a season depending
on the players performance during the period.
As at the 2011/12 Season, there are 13 teams competing for the Three Player title
and 8 teams battling it out for the Four Player title. The teams are represented by 10 different clubs comprising of approximately
150 players.

Social Club, Sawston Social Club, Newport Club, Dunmow Club, Takeley Sports and Social Club, Widdington Village Hall, Bishop’s Stortford
